The NJHS had a great time supporting events last week for Earth Week. : )
We had a recycle day at lunch where several kids helped the students eating lunch recycle the items from their lunch that could be recycled. We also gave some wonderful tips on our morning announcements and on our daily Powerpoint educating the kids on campus about "going green" ideas. Friday we gave all the teachers and office staff Target re-usable bags to use when shopping.
Friday, we had several wonderful people bring canned food to the bbq. Mrs. Jennifer Scott was the winner of our Going Green basket! Thanks to all who donated canned food items.
